How did the Industrial Revolution impact and/or alter the lives of the working class?
Q. How did the Industrial Revolution impact and/or alter the lives of the working class? Were the changes negative or positive for the working class?
Asked by Any help? - Sat Jan 19 23:38:58 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. up until the industrial revolution, the working class consisted mainly of agricultural workers and small cottage industry, with the advent of large scale production many of these people moved into urban areas to search for what they thought would be a better life. although an agricultural based economy was still in existence it brought about an end to most cottage industry and pulled many people away from self sufficient farming and into cities where food and other perishables had to be bought, in a sense making the money that they made in factories worth less than it was when they only had to purchase manufactured goods

Whats the difference between cartilege piercing and Industrial piercing?
Q. Okay well i know obviously the industrial piercing has two holes, but if i already have a cartilege piercing, cant i just get the other hole piercied and then put in one of the industrial bar type earrings? I may sound stupid because i really dont know what im talking about but yeah. Just give any imput whatsoever on what you think relates to the topic. thanks!

A. You could, technically. But it's going to be best if you get the industrial done properly by a professional piercer. It's really hard to line up the piercings so that the bar doesn't cause any stress/pressure on your ear, and most hairdressers/stores in the mall can't do that. (Or at least in my experience. I had my ears gunned 4 times before they were even. Eeesh) Also, you're going to have a better/easier healing if the piercing is done by a professional because a needle causes less damage to your ear cartilage than having a blunt stud shoved through it.
