What you are doing right now is needlessly confusing yourself by randomly switching between the micro view of productivity (the number of hours it takes te build a certain product) and the macro view (value added divided by the size of labor force). You completely forgot that value added includes profits along with wages. You seem to pay no attention to the fact that substituting domestically produced inputs with low-cost imports usually leads to lower prices. And so on and so forth...
